Who we are

StarvoxLabs Pvt Ltd (“we”) operates Vyrel and is the Data Fiduciary for your personal data under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP). This policy explains what we collect, why, and your rights.

1. Data we collect

  • Account: name, email, hashed password.
  • Content you upload: videos, images, audio — which may contain faces and voices (treated as sensitive; see section 5).
  • Usage: features used, generations, session data.
  • Payment: processed by Razorpay — we do not store your card details.
  • Technical / anti-abuse: IP address, approximate location, device and browser, and signup risk signals used to prevent fraud and abuse.
  • Cookies and analytics (see section 8).

2. Why we use it

To provide and render your videos, operate your account, process payments, prevent abuse, provide support, and comply with law. We process your data on the basis of your consent and to perform our contract with you.

3. We do not train AI on your content

Your Content is used only to produce your outputs. We do not use it to train our or anyone else’s AI models.

4. Who we share it with (subprocessors)

To render outputs we send relevant content to trusted AI and infrastructure providers, only as needed: Anthropic, OpenAI, fal.ai, Kling AI, ElevenLabs, WaveSpeed, Pexels, RunPod (AI processing); Supabase (database and authentication); Razorpay (payments). We do not sell your data.

5. Faces & voices

If you upload faces or use voice cloning, that data is processed only to create your requested output, retained per section 7, and deleted on request. By using these features you consent to this processing and confirm you have the rights and consent described in our Terms.

6. Cross-border transfers

Some subprocessors operate outside India. Where we transfer your data abroad, we do so only to deliver the Service and with appropriate safeguards, as permitted under the DPDP Act.

7. Retention

We keep your data only as long as needed. Uploaded source footage is automatically deleted 30 days after upload; AI-generated images after 15 days; rendered videos and voiceovers after 7 days. Temporary processing files are removed within hours.

You can delete any content yourself at any time, which erases both the file and its metadata. Account data is retained while your account is active and deleted within a reasonable period after closure, except where law requires retention.

8. Cookies & analytics

We use essential cookies plus privacy-respecting analytics and, where applicable, advertising pixels. You can control non-essential cookies via your browser or our consent banner.

9. Your rights (DPDP)

You have the right to access, correct, update, and erase your personal data, to withdraw consent, and to nominate another person to exercise your rights. To exercise these, contact us at hello@vyrel.cloud.

10. Grievance Officer

In line with the DPDP Act, grievances may be addressed to our Grievance Officer at hello@vyrel.cloud, StarvoxLabs Pvt Ltd, BKC, Mumbai. We will acknowledge grievances promptly and respond within statutory timelines.

11. Security & breach notification

We use encryption in transit, hashed passwords, access controls, and abuse monitoring. In the event of a personal-data breach, we will notify the Data Protection Board and affected users as required, including CERT-In reporting within 6 hours where applicable.

12. Children

Vyrel is not for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from minors.

13. Changes

We will post updates here and notify you of material changes.
